What this site does

This site is a spin wheel for League of Legends jungle champions. It has no user accounts, no application backend and no database. Nothing you do here is stored on a server. Champion icons are embedded directly in the page, so drawing the wheel does not load anything from third-party servers.

Server log files

When you open this site, the web server automatically records the following in log files, which your browser transmits by necessity:

• IP address
• Date and time of the request
• The file requested
• Browser type and version, and operating system
• Referrer URL

This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify you. It is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website. The logs are deleted after a short retention period.

Cloudflare

This website is delivered through Cloudflare, a content delivery network and security service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. All traffic to this site passes through Cloudflare's servers, which means Cloudflare processes your IP address, the request metadata listed above and technical connection details before the request reaches the web server.

Cloudflare uses this data to deliver the site quickly and to detect and block attacks and automated abuse. For this purpose Cloudflare may set a technically necessary cookie in your browser (for example __cf_bm, a bot management cookie with a short lifetime). This cookie serves security purposes only; it is not used for analytics, advertising or profiling, and it does not track you across websites.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the availability, integrity and security of the website. Cloudflare processes data in the United States and other third countries. A data processing agreement including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses is in place, and Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Local storage in your browser

This site stores one value in your browser's local storage: the Twitch channel name you last entered, so you do not have to type it again. This value never leaves your device and is not transmitted to me or to anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDG, as the storage is strictly necessary to provide the function you explicitly requested.

Connection to Twitch

When you press "Connect", your browser opens a direct, anonymous connection to Twitch's chat servers (irc-ws.chat.twitch.tv) in order to read the messages in the channel you entered. No Twitch login takes place and no account data is requested.

Because the connection is made by your browser, your IP address is transmitted to Twitch. The provider is Twitch Interactive, Inc., 350 Bush Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. This means your data may be processed outside the EU, in the United States. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in providing the chat-driven function of this site. This connection is only established when you actively press "Connect".

Chat messages read from the channel are processed only in your browser, in memory, in order to draw the wheel. They are not stored and are gone as soon as you reload or close the page.

What this site does not do

• No analytics or tracking of any kind
• No advertising and no profiling
• No cookies apart from Cloudflare's technically necessary security cookie described above
• No external fonts or scripts
• No contact form and no newsletter
